Blog 4 - Mitt Romney - Satire

Mitt Romney was born march 12, 1947 is an American entrepreneur who served as the 70th Governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007. He was the Republican Party’s candidate for the President of United States in the 2012 election. He rose in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, by his parents George W. Romney.  Mitt Romney spent two and a half years in French as a Mormon missionary starting in 1966. He married Ann Davies in 1969, with which he has had five children. By 1971, Romney had contributed in the political campaign of both his parents. In that year, he earned a Bachelor of Arts at Bringham Young and in 1975, a joint Juries Doctor and Master of Business Administration at Harvard.
During the past three weeks, the dynamic of the 2012 presidential election has shifted, and President Obama has moved out to a modest but significant lead against Mitt Romney. No developments in the economy or the world can explain this shift. That leaves the campaigns themselves. And during the past two weeks, Romney’s campaign has revealed itself to be impressively incompetent. Romney’s challenge has always been to keep his distance from the party he is leading—the Republican Party, after all, is farther ideologically from the median voter than is the Democratic Party. And as recently as a few months ago, Romney was in good position to do just that: While the public has seen Barack Obama and his party as more or less vague, they have viewed Romney as a moderate conservative within a highly conservative party. But, Only 26 percent of those who listened to or watched the Republican convention said that it made them more likely to vote for Romney, versus 46 percent less likely.  Finally, Obama leads and he ends up winning, the skeptics—of whom I have been one—will have to acknowledge that the Obama team understands something important about twenty-first century politics that we don’t.  An Obama victory would suggest a more personalized, identity-based brand of politics could trump traditional economic metrics, even when times are tough. For their part, Republicans would have to acknowledge that the current stance and demography of their party don’t provide the basis for a lasting national majority. But then, that’s a lesson they should have learned some time ago.

According to Devil's Advocate blog, I will explains briefly about  my research paper results  regarding Singapore, as well as draw the image of its marketing environment. The research paper contains the explanations about the culture, official spoken languages, state of economy, level of technology, religion, climate, population, political and legal system and also potential for economic growth. Movie Review

The Amazing Spiderman

The Spiderman is back!! This movie has similar story component and excitements that we have seen earlier which written by James Vanderbilt, Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves. The new movie Spiderman which called The Amazing Spiderman is the story of Peter Parker , an out cast high school who was reckless by his parents as a kid, leaving him to be raised by his uncle Ben and Aunt May.Like most youths, Peter is trying to figure out who is he and how he got to be the person he is today. As Peter notices a mysterious brief case that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to recognize his parents' disappearance -leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. A science experiment to help humanity goes wrong and we get a new villain called The Lizard which played by Rhys Ifans. The Lizard does what the usual antiheroes in Spidey films do but he is not that threatening as the Green Goblin was in the old Spiderman. The action arrangements are also less in the movie, some of the sequences are very well shot as we seen from the Spiderman as he jumps from heights.Additional big transformation in the film is Peter Parker's love interest; instead of Marry Jane, we get to meet Gween Stacy which played by Emma Stone. Gwen is intellectual, strong headed and fearless; casting Stone was perhaps the best decision for the makers. Finally, Spiderman is set on a collision course with Connor's alter-ego, The lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become hero.

Overall, The Amazing Spiderman is an entertaining movie but is confidently not the best superhero movie we have seen in this summer. Definitely  watch it for a good time at the movies, but do not expect a lot; I guess that is left to the consequences.

LEADERS DEVELOP DAILY, NOT IN A DAY

In this blog, I’d like talk about leadership principal for a research paper in order to encourage us to adopt a lifestyle of personal growth. Leaders develop daily, not in a day, which means leader doesn’t happen automatically. We cannot build a character or goal within one day, but through a process.

During the session of my work with leaders, I discover that so many of us get hung up on the “ should and shouldn’t “ of leadership by comparing themselves with other leaders. Leaders, who feel the need to compare themselves with leaders held up in public as great business leader, it will leads themselves to a disservice.

We are all human beings with unique strengths and experience that make it impossible to lead exactly like someone else. We should have our own leadership personality that is based on our character and uniqueness. Don't worry on your weakness. Dedicate yourself to fine-tuning your strengths.

For instance, we can work especially hard on personal growth such as lead, comunicate, create and network. When discovering your leadership personality, you first need to recognize what leadership to you. There are as many kind of leadership as there are leaders. The most important thing for you as a leader is to discover your own characterization of leadership. For instance, we can maintaining the easiest to the hardest. Firstly is lead down, where we become influence to people that's looking up to us. Secondly is inspires those around you to execute their very best. Thirdly is lead up, which is very challenging where can become most influential to people that are above or more advance than us.
Lastly, the most significant but yet the hardest one to do is to lead our self. Where we have to maintain our self, know where we are going, and have self- control. Leading our self is the most important skill of being an inspiration leader cause we can't lead others unless we can lead ourself. That's why many people failed being a leader because when they fail, they focused more on being upset and keep trying to change to change people without focusing change from the inside. When people cannot respect us a leader, we first have to ask our self. what I have done wrong instead of blaming them and being upset.

Lead with protection. Great leaders needs to feel secure about them self. Know her or his purpose, stay and serving to their calling. Expected to change. When change is necessary for us to improve, not changing is damaging. Therefore, we have to anticipate change that many happen rather than being forced to change when we are not ready

Maturity is a key for life. Meaning that we don't have to ask questions all the time. There will be a time where we need to decide our own wise decision without asking for people opinion.

Lastly, it is also important to protect our self. We have to choose whom we want to be surrounded by. Sometimes we have to let go when for example our relationship with certain people hinder us from moving forward. But we have to remember letting go one person in order to grow is not a mistake, cause when we grow, we will be able to attract new and more and more people towards us.

Once you understand your self as a leader, your leadership personality , then you can determine whether you want to make changes as a leader and develop a plan to get there.
